Discount Provision

TryPoint lets you offer discounts to shoppers during the try-on flow. Discounts can motivate email subscriptions, usage rights sharing, or simply encourage the shopper to complete their purchase.

How it works

You configure a discount code in TryPoint settings. The discount is presented to shoppers at a specific point in the try-on flow, typically in exchange for an action like subscribing to your email list or granting usage rights for their try-on photo.

Setting up discounts

  1. Create a discount code in your Shopify admin (Discounts > Create discount).
  2. Open the TryPoint app and go to Settings > Discounts.
  3. Enter the discount code.
  4. Choose when the discount is shown: after email capture, after usage rights opt-in, or after completing a try-on.
  5. Customize the message shoppers see (for example, "Get 10% off your first order!").
  6. Save your settings.

Use cases

Incentivize email capture. Offer a discount in exchange for the shopper's email address during the try-on flow.

Encourage usage rights sharing. Offer a discount to shoppers who opt in to share their try-on photos for marketing use.

Drive conversion. Present a discount after the try-on to nudge shoppers toward purchase while their buying intent is high.

Tips

  • Keep the discount meaningful but sustainable. A small percentage off or free shipping works well.
  • Time the discount for maximum impact. Presenting it right after the shopper sees themselves in the product creates a natural moment of high intent.
