Email Capture

Email Capture

TryPoint lets you capture email addresses from shoppers who use the virtual try-on feature. Shoppers who try on products are high-intent buyers, making this a powerful way to grow your email list.

How it works

You can gate the try-on experience behind an email capture form. Before or during the try-on flow, shoppers are prompted to enter their email address. You can optionally pair this with a discount offer to increase signup rates.

Setting up email capture

  1. Open the TryPoint app in your Shopify admin.
  2. Go to Settings > Email Capture.
  3. Enable the email capture toggle.
  4. Customize the prompt text (for example, "Enter your email to try this on").
  5. Optionally, add a discount code that shoppers receive after subscribing.
  6. Save your settings.

Why this matters

Shoppers who use virtual try-on are actively evaluating a purchase. They have chosen a product, uploaded a photo, and are seeing how it looks on them. This is a much higher-intent signal than a casual browser. Emails captured through this flow are more valuable for remarketing and retention campaigns.

Tracking email captures

TryPoint tracks the number of emails captured in the analytics dashboard. You can see how many shoppers submitted their email through the try-on flow and how this contributes to your overall email list growth.
