Sharing and Downloading Try-Ons

Sharing and Downloading Try-Ons

Shoppers can share their try-on results with friends or download them. This drives word-of-mouth traffic back to your store and helps shoppers make buying decisions faster.

How sharing works

After a try-on is generated, the shopper sees sharing options through their device's share menu. Available sharing methods include:

  • WhatsApp — Send the try-on image directly to a friend or group chat.
  • Download — Save the image to the shopper's device.
  • Copy link — Copy a shareable link to the try-on result.
• Other device sharing options — Any app available in the device's native share sheet.

Why sharing matters

Shopping for clothes is often a social activity. Shoppers ask friends and family for opinions before buying. When a shopper shares their try-on image, the recipient sees the product on a real person they know. This builds trust and often leads to a purchase.

Every share is also a potential new visitor to your store. The shared try-on creates organic traffic from a high-credibility source (a personal recommendation).

Tracking shares

TryPoint tracks shares by channel (download, copy link, WhatsApp, device share) in the analytics dashboard. You can see which sharing methods shoppers prefer and how many shares your try-on feature generates.

Tips

  • Encourage sharing by adding a note in the try-on experience ("Share with a friend to get their opinion!").
  • Consider pairing sharing with a discount offer to incentivize both the shopper and the friend.
