Supported Garment Types
TryPoint works with most upper-body garments and a range of clothing styles. Here is what works well and what to expect.
Best results
TryPoint produces the most accurate and natural-looking results with:
- Tops and blouses (fitted, loose, and everything in between)
- Dresses (casual, formal, evening wear)
- Swimwear and bikinis (including challenging cuts like open-back styles)
- Outerwear (jackets, coats, blazers)
- Fitted garments where shoppers need to see how the cut and silhouette look on their body
Back-view try-on
Shoppers can see how garments look from the back, not just the front. This is especially useful for:
- Swimwear with back details
- Evening wear and dresses with open or detailed backs
- Jackets where the rear design matters
To enable back-view try-on, your product listing should include a back-view product photo.
Range of styles
TryPoint handles both fitted and flowing garments. The AI adapts to different fabric types and garment structures. Even items that are typically challenging for virtual try-on (like bikinis, sheer fabrics, and open-front designs) produce natural-looking results.
Current limitations
TryPoint is optimized for upper-body garments. Full outfits, pants on their own, footwear, and accessories are not currently supported. The AI is specifically trained on clothing items that can be mapped to the upper body and torso.
Tips for best results
- Use product photos that clearly show the full garment on a white or plain background.
- Include front and back product photos for the most accurate try-on output.
- Garments with distinctive prints, logos, or details tend to produce impressive results because the AI preserves those details in the preview.
