Understanding Try-On Costs
Understanding Try-On Costs
Each virtual try-on consumes one try-on credit. Here is how try-on costs work across different plans and how to manage your usage.
What counts as a try-on
One try-on is counted each time a shopper generates a try-on image. If a shopper tries on three different products, that counts as three try-ons. Re-viewing a previously generated try-on does not consume an additional credit.
Cost per try-on by plan
| Plan | Included try-ons | Additional try-on cost |
|---|---|---|
| Free | 20 (one-time) | N/A |
| Pay-as-You-Go | 0 (top up) | $0.29 each |
| Basic | 100/month | $0.19 each |
| Grow | 1,000/month | $0.10 each |
On paid plans with a monthly allocation, included try-ons reset each billing cycle. Additional try-ons beyond the included amount are charged at the per-try-on rate listed above.
Managing usage
Daily and per-shopper limits. On the Basic plan and above, you can set daily try-on limits and per-shopper limits to control usage. For example, you can limit each shopper to 5 try-ons per session to prevent excessive usage.
Monitoring. Track your try-on usage in the TryPoint dashboard under Settings > Usage. You can see how many try-ons have been used this billing period and how many remain.
Choosing the right plan
If you are just getting started, the free plan (20 try-ons) or Pay-as-You-Go lets you test without commitment. As usage grows, upgrading to Basic or Grow becomes more cost-effective because the per-try-on cost decreases significantly at higher tiers.
Compare your monthly try-on volume to the plan pricing to find the best value. If you consistently use more than 100 try-ons per month, the Basic plan ($19.99 for 100 included) is cheaper than Pay-as-You-Go. If you exceed 200 try-ons, the savings increase further.
