What TryPoint Does

What TryPoint Does

TryPoint adds virtual try-on to your Shopify product pages. Shoppers see how your garments look on their own body before they buy, powered by Google's AI.

How it works for shoppers

Screenshot: The shopper try-on flow — four-step sequence showing: (1) try-on button on product page, (2) photo upload screen, (3) AI generating preview, (4) final try-on result with share/cart options

  1. A shopper visits a product page and clicks the try-on button.
  2. They upload a photo of themselves.
  3. TryPoint's AI generates a realistic image of them wearing the product. This takes a few seconds.
  4. The shopper can view the result, share it with friends, download it, or add the product to their cart.

The AI understands how different fabrics fold, stretch, drape, and wrinkle on different body types. Results look natural and realistic, not like a flat image pasted onto a photo.

How it works for you

From your Shopify admin, you control which product pages show the try-on button. TryPoint tracks everything: how many shoppers use the feature, how it affects conversion rates, and how it impacts returns.

You can also capture emails during the try-on flow, collect usage rights to reuse try-on images as social proof, and gather shopper feedback on the experience.

Where the sale happens

The sale happens on your Shopify store, as it always does. TryPoint adds the try-on experience to your existing product pages. When a shopper is ready to buy, they add the product to their Shopify cart and check out normally. Nothing changes about your checkout process.

Supported garments

TryPoint works with tops, dresses, swimwear, outerwear, and most upper-body garments. It handles a range of styles, from fitted pieces to loose, flowing fabrics. Back-view try-on is also supported.
